Their Story

Margaret's Story

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a heart of gold and a laugh that could light up any room. Born in Manchester in the spring of 1942, she grew up with a deep love of music, storytelling and the small joys of everyday life. She met the love of her life, Thomas, in 1961 and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter and open doors. She raised two children, welcomed five grandchildren, and — in her later years — tended a garden of roses and lavender that neighbours would slow down to admire. She lived a life of kindness, strength and quiet grace. Her love continues to guide us every day.
